20 Family-Friendly Winter Things to Do in Regina

1.)  SASKATCEHWAN SPORTS HALL OF FAME - Make plans to visit, take a tour and learn about the rich history of sports right here in Saskatchewan. The Play Hard, Fight Hard: Sport and the Canadian Military exhibit explores the history and miitary service with stories from honoured hall of famers who have proudly served.

2.) Come experience the RCMP HERITAGE MUSEUM'S new interactive exhibits, like the Protecting the North and their interactive exhibits, Driving Simulator and Sgt. Major's Inspection.
 

3.) Spend the day inside at the pool for warmth and relaxation at the SOAKED Waterpark.  Ride the awesome slides and have a great time.  Located inside the Atlas Hotel.
 

4.) REGINA FLORAL CONSERVATORY is our little oasis in the winter.  Experience wonderful programs like the Lil' Gardener's Club and the many other great events that they host all winter long.
 

5.) Come and meet Megamunch's new friend, Scotty, the world's largest T-Rex exhibit at the ROYAL SASKATCHEWAN MUSEUM. Also, see the First Nations exhibit,explore the life like animal exhibits and bug sized fun facts.
 

6.) Don't miss WASCANA CENTRE for a natural winter beauty experience.  They offer cross country ski trails, you can sled at Douglas Park hill or try outdoor skating on the lake.
 

7.) Come cheer on your REGINA PATS and have a family- friendly night of fun & hockey.
 

8.) There is nothing like the IMAX Experience.  Now playing Great Bear Rain Forest & Superpower Dogs.

10.)  Let the kids experience some hands on science and educational fun at the SASKATCHEWAN SCIENCE CENTRE. There is always something new to check out here.
 

11.)  There are some great indoor, jumping facilities that kids can get all the energy out during winter time like DINO BOUNCERS and GET AIR REGINA.

12.)  RAINBOW CINEMAS offers so many great, family-friendly movies coming out this winter.

13.) We love getting lost in the books and having a vanilla bean frappe, it really hits the spot at CHAPTERS INDIGO REGINA

14.) Head to one of the many REGINA PUBLIC LIBRARY branches for free activities and programs for kids.  They offer a wide variety of programming from the kid who loves Minecraft to the artsy-crafty spirit in your household.  All programs are free and some require registration.

15.) Head to MISSION RIDGE WINTER PARK for downhill skiing, snowboarding and their new TUBE park! Southern Sask.'s premier ski area with new renovations: 14 groomed runs, two terrain parks, four lifts and you gotta try Bubba's Pizza on Mission. #RIDETHERIDGE
 

16.) MACKENZIE ART GALLERY is always a great experience for kids to check out the exhibits.  And Family Studio Sundays are free and create some art and take a family tour.

19.) WASKIMO WINTER FESTIVAL at Wascana Centre February 17, 2020 will be a day of winter fun for the whole family. It's the only time of the year that the public is allowwed onto the ice of Wascana Lake. There will be horse drawn carriage rides, ice skating, snow cricket, fat bike races and the Hole-ympics Outhouse Races! 
 

20.) MISSION RIDGE WINTER PARK Have you ever wanted to try rock climbing? Check out this amazing indoor experience for all ages.
