We love discovering new playgrounds in Regina! Last year we came across a beautiful park & playground complete with several picnic sites, a large playground, a spray pad, public washrooms and more! It is called the Rick Hansen Optimist Playground and it is located on McCarthy Boulevard & 4th Avenue in Northwest Regina. Since discovering it last year, it is our new favourite park! Read more »

There is a new area in development in Northwest Regina called Skyview (it is behind Lakewood off of McCarthy Blvd) that has a new fun playground! This new park is called Fafard Park and it’s filled with all sorts of goodies! Read more »

Can you believe that I’ve lived in Regina for 25 years but I had never been to the MacKenzie Art Gallery? I read about their Family Studio Sunday program and decided to take my little guy there. The thought of taking him in to an art gallery was a little scary since I was worried that he’d wreck something. He’s two years old now so he can be a little mischievous! Read more »
