The Bike Safety Rodeo is a

great way for kids to learn

and practise safe bicycling

techniques. Activities include

a safety inspection and a

series of skills stations directly

related to everyday bicycling

situations. Practise starting and

stopping; exiting a driveway;

watching for traffic; negotiating

an intersection and avoiding

common road hazards. Bring

your bike, a helmet and a water

bottle. Participants must wear a

explore RPL’s Sunken Garden

“Do” touch table to explore the

properties of seeds, and more.

recycled containers for planting
