Have you ever wanted to make your own Heritage Minute? Canadian students and educators are invited to explore the legacy of the Fathers of Confederation and Sir John A., through the creation of their own Heritage Minute-style video.

Historica Canada presents a Canadian history-focused contest,  Make Your Own Heritage Minute: Stories of Sir John A. and the Fathers of Confederation, that invites Canadian youth to explore the legacy of Sir John A. Macdonald and the Fathers of Confederation by creating their very own Heritage Minute-style video for a chance to win great prizes, like iPads and Smart Watches.  There are also free bilingual learning tools about Sir John A. and Confederation for both junior/intermediate and senior levels available, as well as specialized French Immersion learning tools for download www.storiesofsirjohna.ca.

The contest itself is a great chance for young people to get creative with history and submissions from grades 5-12 and grade 5 to secondary V in Quebec in both official languages are welcome.

Submissions are due November 30, 2015.
